For people coming with motorway Milan-Ventimiglia, get off at Ovada exit. For those coming from the North, that is to say from Milan, be careful and follow Ventimiglia direction just after Tortona exit.

When you get off at Ovada go up towards the hills, Lerma direction. You don’t have to enter the town: 1-2 kilometres before Lerma you will see the castle and 150 meters after the bridge on the river you will find the indications to turn under the castle.
